The Details
First grow the crystal coral, then build an underwater mermaid world around it. This hands-on terrarium kit combines a simple science experiment with sand, shells, buried treasure, stickers, and whimsical sea friends for a project that keeps changing after the decorating is done.
Crystals can begin forming in about 24 hours, and the finished terrarium glows with a light-up lid and glow-in-the-dark details. Hot water and adult help are needed for the crystal step; two AAA batteries are also required and are not included. Ages 6+.
